Data corrections
If you’ve found an error on beachgrade.org, please include the specific page URL, the value you believe is wrong, and — if you have one — the record or citation you think is correct. Because our data originates with the U.S. EPA BEACON (BEACH Act) program and the Water Quality Portal (WQX/STORET), the fastest fixes are ones we can verify against that source.

Journalists and researchers are welcome to cite BeachGrade data. For press inquiries, please email contact@beachgrade.org with your publication name, angle, and deadline. We are happy to provide context, review numbers before publication, or point you to the underlying public record.
